Parent Coaching Agreement

We are excited to partner with you on your parenting journey and are committed to helping you build a strong, supportive family. To ensure you get the most from this process, we ask that you commit to an initial block of coaching sessions. This investment gives you the time and space to experience meaningful growth. A single session does not provide the depth of learning that comes from ongoing engagement.

After completing the initial block of sessions, you can continue with individual sessions or purchase additional packages.

Session Details

Coaching sessions typically last 50 minutes unless otherwise specified. We recommend scheduling sessions every 1-2 weeks during the early stages, with adjustments over time-based on your needs and preferences.

Our Coaching Commitment

My Role as a Coach

As your Seeds of Impact coach, you can expect me to:

  • Provide a Safe and Supportive Environment: Create a non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences, challenges, and successes as a parent.

  • Equip You with Practical Tools and Strategies: Offer actionable advice and tools tailored to your family’s needs to help you manage day-to-day parenting challenges.

  • Encourage Growth and Reflection: Support your personal growth as a parent by helping you reflect on your parenting approaches and encouraging self-awareness.

  • Be Patient and Understanding. I understand that every family is different, and I will take the time to listen to your concerns and guide you at your own pace.

  • Provide Evidence-Based Guidance: Share research-backed methods and best practices to ensure you are empowered with effective strategies for raising resilient, healthy children.

  • Celebrate Your Progress: Acknowledge and celebrate your successes and milestones, no matter how small, as part of your journey to becoming the parent you aspire to be.

  • Maintain Confidentiality: Respect your privacy and confidentiality throughout our work together, ensuring a trusting and professional relationship.

  • These are the guiding principles I commit to in our time working together.

Your Role as a Client

As a client, I ask that you:

  • Be Open and Honest: Share your thoughts, challenges, and concerns openly, so we can work together effectively toward your goals.

  • Stay Committed: Dedicate yourself to the process of growth by actively engaging in our sessions and applying the strategies we discuss in your daily life.

  • Take Responsibility for Your Progress: Own your personal development and parenting journey, recognizing that your effort and commitment are key to achieving meaningful change.

  • Be Open to Feedback: Be willing to receive constructive feedback and consider new perspectives, even if they may challenge your current parenting practices.

  • Respect Our Time Together: Arrive on time for sessions, be present and focused, and communicate promptly if scheduling changes are necessary.

  • Set Meaningful Goals: Work with me to establish clear and meaningful goals for yourself and your family, so we can stay focused on what’s most important to you.

  • Practice Patience with Yourself: Understand that growth and change take time. Be patient with yourself, and give yourself grace as you learn and apply new skills.

  • Maintain Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of what is shared during our sessions, fostering a trusting environment.

Payment Procedures

Payments for all coaching services must be made in advance when scheduling. Payment can be made via PayPal.

Scheduling

We will agree on a mutually convenient time for our sessions. You may choose between phone or video sessions. I will call you at the agreed-upon time.

Cancellation Policy

Your time and mine are both valuable. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled within the 24-hour window may result in forfeiting the session fee. Rescheduling is possible any time before the 24-hour deadline.

Termination

You may end the coaching relationship at any time with at least seven days written notice via email.

Confidentiality and Informed Consent

We prioritize your privacy and will only release information with your written consent or as required by law. There are two exceptions:

  1. If we suspect a child, elderly, or disabled person is being abused or neglected, we are required to report this.

  2. If you are in imminent danger to yourself or others, we are required to take protective action.

Coaching and Therapy

Seeds of Impact’s coaching focuses on building your confidence as a parent and strengthening your relationship with your children. While coaching may encourage significant lifestyle changes, it is not a substitute for psychotherapy or other health services. If you are currently in therapy, please ensure your therapist knows your decision to engage in coaching.

Coaching Commitment

While our relationship may feel personal, it is professional and focused on helping you grow as a parent. I will challenge you and offer honest feedback. You are responsible for setting the direction for our sessions and communicating openly about your progress.
